Lin Miao cracked his head while trying to help someone, and accidentally awakened memories of being a cannon-fodder character.
In the original campus romance novel, he and Xie Yanchen, the female lead's unrequited first love, were in the same boat. One mishap after another caused them both to miss the college entrance exam.
He decided to start by changing academic tracks, study hard, and get into a good school!
But then he discovered that at night, he seemed to turn into Xie Yanchen's cat.
At school, Xie Yanchen was a cool, stone-faced guy. At home, would he really hold a cat and explain math problems to it?
Lin Miao's eyes lit up. He pointed with a furry paw and meowed, "Teacher Xie, I want to learn this problem!"
Xie Yanchen noticed that his ragdoll cat had been acting like two completely different cats, day and night, ever since one particular day.
By day, it was a clingy, perfectly normal cat. At night, it seemed far too smart to be a cat.
It listened attentively as he explained problems, meowed in agreement, and even... picked problems for him to explain!
#My cat has become a spirit, but he's still pretending he hasn't#
Xie Yanchen had a secret: he had been in love with Lin Miao for a long time.
