Confessing My Feelings

She wagers the empire and stakes her life, traveling a thousand miles alone into enemy territory.

To bet that she has a place in your heart.

By day, they clash on the battlefield. By night, they tangle in bed until neither can hold back.

A king and the king of an enemy nation. A 10,000-word short story.

There's absolutely no logic to this. A lone journey into enemy territory would never work. Don't worry about whether the two of them could actually pull this off or whether the power structures make sense! I just want to indulge in some kinks, qwq. If I fleshed it out and built a whole world to make it plausible, it wouldn't be a short story anymore.

I wrote the first three chapters in eighth grade, so some parts are a little over the top. Don't worry about it. I tried to get the later chapters closer to the style I had back then, but the style still isn't entirely consistent.
