Amamiya Xun died as the sole victim of a robbery at a large shopping mall.
Then he came back to life, half an hour before he had been pronounced dead, with a countdown to his death ticking incessantly in his mind.
The only way to extend his time was to increase his influence.
And so...
A new star was born in the detective world.
Rumor had it that he possessed eyes that could see the future.
Though the detective was arrogant, capricious, cold, and suspicious, people were happy to raise him up and loudly proclaim him a symbol of hope.
The good guys watched him warily;
the bad guys schemed to recruit him.
A high-ranking official suddenly appeared in the organization.
They said that even someone as influential as Gin had to obey his orders.
Unfortunately, the official was indecisive and naive. The members laughed and toyed with him, mocking his misplaced kindness.
The bad guys ground him down and pushed him around;
the good guys felt sympathy for him.

Later, they realized
that the person they had been dealing with all along was one and the same.
And that was just wonderful.
Note:
1. The protagonist is neutral. Everything is for the sake of survival.
2. The protagonist is playing a dual-personality role and should be universally adored (?). I'm not sure I can pull it off, so if I can't, just pretend I never said that.
