Chu Muqing has been different from other people since she was little.

It wasn't until one day, when people from the supernatural organization Noah Project found her, that she learned none of it had been her imagination.
Monsters born from human obsessions and feeding on their Hosts' reason had been hiding among people in the form of their Hosts. The apocalypse had already begun to show its signs.
To fight these impostor monsters, the Noah Project was formed, an organization made up of people with supernatural abilities.
Her own brother was one of them.
Which meant the Evil God might actually exist! She really had been bound to the Evil God for more than a decade!
And she was still alive. What incredible luck.
To save her own life, Chu Muqing has to complete the tasks assigned by the Evil God Bride System. She joins the Noah Project and works diligently for the organization to earn points, growing stronger step by step, while her relationship with the Evil God gradually grows closer.
She even begins to think that being the Evil God's bride might not be so bad.
Until one day, while she is on a mission with her brother,
he suddenly clutches his head in pain. Within seconds, his body shatters and swells, transforming before her eyes into a strange, twisted form that is all too familiar.
He has no lips, and his deep, hollow eyes stare straight at her:

1. The blurb focuses on the male and female leads, but this is an ensemble story, and any character other than the leads could die.
