Debt of the Yellow Springs

Also known as "My Ex Doesn't Have Enough Credit"

Playboy bottom x Devoted top

Mo Li was famous across the Five Realms.

As the adopted son of the Heavenly Dao and the only ten-tailed fox in existence, he had more lovers than anyone could count. All he had to do was crook a finger, and young men of talent and good looks would flock to win his favor.

There was no one he couldn't seduce, except for one person:

Zhao Yuan, crown prince of the demon clan.

When they first met at Mount Jiuyi, Mo Li suffered his first defeat.

He had planned to teach Zhao Yuan a lesson, but instead they became more deeply entangled, until Mo Li ended up getting dragged down with him.

With a sincere heart, Zhao Yuan won Mo Li's hand in marriage. But on their wedding day, he drew a clear line between them with a divorce letter: "We will not meet again until we meet in the Yellow Springs."

When Mo Li learned that Zhao Yuan had died in battle, he took his own life before Zhao Yuan's grave, dying for love. Just as he had promised, he followed Zhao Yuan to the Yellow Springs.

A thousand years later, Mo Li returned to life in another body, only to discover that the bastard had never died!

Money debts are easy to repay, but debts of love are hard. Zhao Yuan owed him a debt from the Yellow Springs.

A thousand years ago...

Mo Li: The playboy gives up his old ways.

Zhao Yuan: I don't believe it.

A thousand years later...

Zhao Yuan: I'll admit my mistakes and make amends.

Mo Li: I don't believe it.
