An accident occurs when a temporary employee of the Time-Space Administration Bureau is handing over the Jewel Seeds, causing them to shatter and fall into another dimension. Joyce Green, a retired enforcement officer of the Bureau and the last descendant of the Green family, receives one final assignment before retirement: travel to another world, to Gotham, and collect the Jewel Seed fragments.
Then Gotham, a city that's already more fantastical than magic could ever be, teaches Joyce a thing or two.

Joyce, a patient with a bat allergy, wants nothing to do with the overly familiar Batman who keeps sticking close to her. Where did this clingy, sickeningly sweet bat spirit come from? And why is there a whole string of little bat brats following him around?
Until one day, Joyce sees the bat spirit berating a big blue guy flying through the air without the slightest mercy: "Get out of my Gotham!"
