My Crafts Have Attributes

Jiang Xinghai was an ordinary college student. During summer vacation, she went home to help her mother look after the family’s milk tea shop.

One day, she was sneaking a little something for herself in the kitchen as usual, brewing a pot of rich chocolate milk. Then a sudden “ding” rang in her mind:

[Run-of-the-mill chocolate milk: Happiness +3, Intelligence +1 (effect lasts 3 hours)]

Jiang Xinghai: !!!

Faced with her chocolate milk, made with generous amounts of ingredients but now displaying a bizarre white notification, she prudently left it alone. Instead, she immediately made herself a cup of bubble milk tea. Another “ding” rang out:

[Rushed bubble milk tea: Happiness +2, Beauty +0.5 (effect lasts 2 hours)]

What the heck was that blue “Beauty +0.5” in the row of white notifications?

Jiang Xinghai figured that staying up late scrolling on her phone for several days in a row had made her hallucinate. Spooked by the news stories about people dying suddenly, she scrambled home to catch up on sleep, only to be roped into doing crafts by her little neighbor, Niuniu.

She carelessly stuck a paper flower together for the kid and was about to head home when a “ding” rang out.

[Slapdash red-paper rose: Environmental Beautification +0.3, Air Purification +1 (effect lasts 3 months)]

At that very moment, the smoky smell that had filled Niuniu’s home while they were frying meatballs mostly vanished.

Once she confirmed that her golden finger was real, Jiang Xinghai gradually figured out how it worked: the better her handiwork, the better the attributes of the notifications she got.

And so, cooking, beading, carving, knitting, clay sculpting... She gradually set out on the path to becoming an all-around craft master.
