A glimmer of amusement hid in Lu Sui's eyes. "All right. I forgot you're a cat and can't understand me."

"Jiujiu, will you stay with me forever?"

"The hell I will!" Jiang Miao turned his head away.

After Lu Sui had manhandled him until his fur puffed up into a ball, Jiang Miao kept meowing and roaring, "What's wrong with you? Who'd want to stay with you?"

Lu Sui: "I know there's something wrong with me."

Jiang Miao was shocked. "You can understand me?!!!"

Lu Sui answered frankly, "Yes. And that's not all."

Lu Sui stroked the cat. "Legends say cats have nine lives. Jiujiu, do you have nine lives too?"

Jiang Miao struggled to escape his clutches. "Get lost! Take a good look. I'm a person, a person!"

"Why didn't you tell me about all this?"

"You didn't tell me either, hehe. We're as bad as each other."
