Teaching and Guiding Others in the Detective World

Before her death, Zhaojian Liyue was a teacher in Neon Country. After staying up late working overtime on paperwork, she died suddenly and was reborn!

After being reborn, she was forced to bind herself to the "Teacher System." If she failed to complete its missions, she would have to keep working in her original profession in her next life, and the life after that. With no other choice, she could only tearfully take the unreliable System with her as she traveled between various filming locations, saving the "students" on its list.

Under the System's arrangements, she arrived at Teitan High School. On the surface, she was a mental health teacher, but in reality she had to take on all sorts of jobs, including police officer, neighborhood dispute mediator, judge, and assassin...

And then there were the so-called "golden fingers" the System gave her: a teacher's pointer that didn't hurt when you hit someone with it; a lesson plan that deducted mission points if she failed to complete it; the "Neon Elementary School Student Code of Conduct"; the "Neon Middle School Student Code of Conduct"; the "Newly Revised Neon Education Act"; bullets that might transform you after being fired; confiscated gliders...

She suddenly felt that her future was bleak, and wondered if she might as well just start her next life now!

"Stop! Dating is forbidden on school grounds. You two are standing much too close!" During her lunch-break patrol, Zhaojian Liyue caught a lovey-dovey young couple.

Kudo Shinichi: We aren't!

Mouri Ran: We're not!

"I saw everything. Remember to keep a one-meter social distance!" Zhaojian Liyue sighed gravely and took out the System's "Daily Conduct Rules for Neon Elementary and Middle School Students: How Boys and Girls Should Socialize." "Read it when you get home and write a thousand-word reflection!"

[At home]

"Our first anniversary is this Friday. Let's go out for dinner to celebrate!" Her boyfriend scrolled on his phone and pointed to the top-rated restaurant in Beika. "It looks like it has great reviews. Want me to book a table?"

"No. We have routine inspections and an open class next week, and I have to be on duty in the mental health room during the students' final exams... Anyway, I'm really busy this week. Maybe next month. I'll be on winter break then!"

[Organization gathering]

"You're late. So you really are the traitor!" Gin saw the tardy Pear Wine arrive and abruptly pulled out his pistol.

"Are you okay, big brother?" Pear Wine impatiently pushed aside the gun pressed to her temple, ignoring the stunned looks all around her.

"Don't you know I have evening study hall today? Can I just walk away whenever I want? You've been calling all day, it's driving me crazy. I have a full schedule all day!" Then she took out the class schedule and homeroom teacher's handbook the System had given her and slapped them against Gin's face.

"How much longer is he going to keep talking?" Pear Wine yawned as she watched Gin continue to prattle on, then whispered to Bourbon, "Look at us, working during the day, moonlighting in the afternoon, committing crimes at night, and attending meetings at midnight. What a vicious sweatshop!"

"Gin is looking at us." Bourbon helplessly rubbed his forehead, gaining an even deeper understanding of Pear Wine's talent for getting herself into trouble.

"It's fine. There's a saying: the more people at a meeting, the less important it is! Every time he holds a meeting, it's either 'traitor' this or 'Ah, Sherry!' that. I'm sick of listening. Let's skip the next one and go to the spa!"

[Joint Public Security and FBI meeting]

"Enough!" Zhaojian Liyue smacked the table. "You're being too loud. Is there any need to be so loud at a meeting? And Furuya and Akai, if you two keep fighting, I'm calling your parents!"

Furuya and Akai: ...Yes.

Far away in England, Akai Tsutomu and Ms. Mary both sneezed violently.
