Nine bells rang, their sound soaring into the heavens... heralding the return of a new immortal.
A scarlet robe, dark hair, cool eyes...
"How can that be? Isn't that Jiuxi?"
Everyone looked toward the high platform, where the Heavenly Emperor and Empress were announcing that the Dragon Clan's crown prince would be bound to the young celestial maiden...
"The Dragon Clan's crown prince used to be that person's fiance..."
"Keep your voice down. Don't let the young celestial maiden hear you..."
"This is going to get interesting. That person has become a new immortal."
"That person can stand as an equal to the Heavenly Emperor now."
