After a car accident, all four members of Jiang Zhiyao's family transmigrated to ancient times.
Her father was a successful candidate in the imperial examinations, her mother was the daughter of a wealthy family, and Jiang Zhiyao and her twin brother had both shrunk down to ten-year-old children.
Before Jiang Zhiyao could get used to life in ancient times, nomadic tribes from the north invaded. The city fell and the country was destroyed, forcing all four members of the Jiang family to flee south.
War, floods, drought... disaster followed them at every turn. Just when they were at the end of their rope, a golden finger dropped from the sky.
