Synopsis
A wanton playboy scumbag shou X a lovesick, devoted gong [Please read the warnings at the bottom first]
Gu Cheng is a notorious playboy in S City. He's rich, handsome, and heartless, and he never gives a second thought to the people he sleeps with.
He seems to have it all, but his mental state is a complete mess. In plain terms, he's mentally ill. Even so, countless people are still desperate to get close to him.
One day, as Gu Cheng was leaving a bar, he happened to spot a college student selling used books by the roadside. The guy had handsome features and an air of aloofness. That rebellious, unyielding gaze in particular had Gu completely smitten.
His eyes lit up as he approached. "You're selling your books. How about selling yourself, too?"
The college student glanced at him and ignored him.
A cool beauty! Even more his type! Gu Cheng secretly swore he had to get him into bed.
-
Xu Zhiheng supported his seriously ill adoptive father with part-time jobs and had no one to turn to, until the school told him someone was sponsoring him. It was the rich young master who had crouched beside his stall and made that lewd remark.
Gu Cheng thumped his chest. "Don't worry, I don't want anything from you. I'm a living bodhisattva, just doing a good deed."
Xu Zhiheng believed him. But before long, the "living bodhisattva" started getting handsy and even kissed him on the mouth.
Gu Cheng said, utterly unapologetic, "We're both guys. What's the big deal about one kiss?"
Frightened, Xu Zhiheng shoved Gu Cheng away. The next day, he woke up to find that Gu Cheng had blocked him on every platform.
Gu Cheng cared deeply about his pride. Being shoved away by Xu Zhiheng killed all his interest, but he still sent him money every month. At least he had a conscience.
Xu Zhiheng, however, developed chronic insomnia. One day, the local police station called to say his biological parents had found him.
His biological parents were close friends with the Gu family. From the Cheng family, Xu Zhiheng learned about Gu Cheng's illness. To thank Gu Cheng for supporting him, he taught himself about it so he could help. Gu Cheng's parents were overjoyed.
Of course, Gu Cheng wasn't happy about it. He thought Xu Zhiheng had come to get revenge, and protested for days. In the end, he still fell into line, because if he didn't, his parents would cut off his allowance.
So Gu Cheng began tormenting Xu Zhiheng relentlessly. Xu Zhiheng put up with it without a word. He took care of Gu Cheng's meals and daily needs, and followed him around every day like a nanny.
Their friends in the circle all laughed that Gu Cheng had found himself a "boy mom."
-
One day, Xu Zhiheng came to wake Gu Cheng as usual. Gu Cheng flew into a rage, grabbed a pillow, and hurled it at him.
"Xu Zhiheng, do you know what you are?"
"A dog! A lapdog! A mangy cur! Get the hell out!"
Xu Zhiheng hugged the pillow that had been thrown at him, then blushed and sniffed it.
"What's wrong with that? Besides, I'm Brother Cheng's dog."

[Warnings]
Younger gong, four-year age gap.
Angsty melodrama. The shou is a playboy [but he's always one-on-one in every relationship and never dates multiple people at once].
Until they officially get together, the shou keeps acting like a scumbag [he's always the bottom].
The gong is devoted and always chasing after the shou, even humiliating himself, both early and late in the story. It gets pretty rough for him, but he enjoys it [mild masochistic and Stockholm syndrome tendencies].
For example: begging, kneeling, calling himself a dog, calling the shou his master, clinging desperately, having no self-respect, and being unable to live without the shou are all normal behavior for the gong [run if this bothers you!].
The shou has avoidant attachment and bipolar disorder.
The gong has a people-pleasing personality and dependent personality disorder.
The gong has never been with anyone, and is pure in body and mind. The shou is his first love and first kiss, and the only person he has ever loved.
They are both troubled, and they torment and "heal" each other.
Theme: A positive outlook
