[Marriage Before Love]

The Yin and Shen families agree to a marriage alliance. When Yin Siyao learns she is about to marry Shen Yu, she resists the idea but cannot go against her family's wishes.
The wedding is simple and subdued. Afterward, Yin Siyao moves into the Shen family villa. Shen Yu treats her coldly. She tries to talk to him but keeps hitting a wall.

One day after the wedding, they attend an art exhibition. As Shen Yu maneuvers his wheelchair, he accidentally bumps into a display stand.
Yin Siyao hurries over to check on him and help clean up, but in that moment Shen Yu is overwhelmed by his insecurity and anger.
"Don't touch me! Do you think I'm a burden, that I can't even handle something this simple?" Shen Yu roars.
His eyes are bloodshot, veins bulging on his forehead. His furious expression makes him look like a wounded animal trapped in a cage.

Once, during a cold war between them, Yin Siyao turned her back to the door and hid completely beneath the blankets, as though that could shut out all the troubles and disappointments of the outside world.
The room was filled with oppressive silence. Only her faint breathing echoed dully beneath the blankets.
Shen Yu slowly wheeled himself to the bed. His eyes were full of guilt and unease.
After hesitating, he reached out and gently poked the blanket over Yin Siyao. His careful gesture was like touching something precious and fragile.
