[Cunning, scheming bottom x Two-faced, jealous top]
[Side stories 1–3 are ready to read~]
[Wait for me, I'm saving up chapters again. This semester has been so busy (sob).]
[I'll try to be back around New Year's. Don't leave me (starry-eyed).]
Qin Weisheng only wanted to log off and live a carefree life, but he was dragged into a bureaucratic job at an Underworld company.
At first, everything seemed normal enough.
Then he heard that every year the company sent employees into a man-eating System to fix its programs. The "ghosts" who went in either died or went mad. Only then did he realize he'd been scammed.
The System's interior takes the form of a game.
Instance One: [Honest Castle]
On his very first day, Qin Weisheng got so carried away eating in a place where people could die that the other players thought he was a freak.
A veteran player sighed and warned them never to provoke the BOSS.
The other newcomers obediently did as they were told.
But Qin Weisheng didn't hold back. In just three sentences, he made the BOSS lose it:
"Did you used to fight with your partner all the time? Is that why you don't have any mirrors, because you're insecure about your looks? Ever thought about getting cosmetic surgery?"
A fatal blow to the "ghost's" heart!
The BOSS decided to kill every last one of them!
The other players: "If you want to die, don't take us down with you!!"
The next second, Qin Weisheng pulled out a stack of photos and a makeup artist's certificate. "Pick one. I'll give you a new face."
The BOSS froze for a few seconds, then actually picked one. Delighted with his handsome new looks, he generously gave Qin Weisheng a rare item.
The other players: "...You can do that?"
Instance Two: [Heart of Love Children's Home]
The unlucky players were told that the instance they'd drawn had a miserable survival rate of just 25%.
The new players wailed in despair, but fortunately, they'd run into an expert.
While they and the expert worked hard on their missions,
Qin Weisheng wandered around the grounds.
While they fought the BOSS alongside the expert, risking their lives to obtain half of an incomplete clue,
Qin Weisheng slept in his room.
When they came back, battered and exhausted, Qin Weisheng blinked sleepily. "You're back?"
The players were furious, eagerly awaiting the sight of Qin Weisheng begging for mercy as the BOSS killed him.
But the next day,
Everyone watched as the BOSS they'd been unable to defeat willingly handed Qin Weisheng a crucial clue to clearing the instance.
BOSS (blushing): "I love you~"
The expert completely lost it: "Fox!"
The other players pondered: "Maybe I should try that next time?"
Instance N:
Qin Weisheng really hated a certain guy. Whenever that man smiled, he looked like a sly fox.
He'd tricked Qin Weisheng before, so when they met again, Qin Weisheng planned to return the favor.
The next day, Qi Luoheng, son of the King of Hell, opened his eyes to find himself tied to a chair.
He wasn't afraid at all. Instead, he said indulgently, "Shengsheng, you're getting better and better at tying people up."
Qin Weisheng pressed his sword to the man's throat. "Call me that again and you'll be the one starting your next life."
Forced to lift his chin and look up at him, Qi Luoheng smiled mischievously. "Shengsheng, you're so fierce. I like it~"
System announcement: [Player Qin Weisheng: First to complete an S-rank hidden instance!]
The whole server flooded with messages: [Hidden achievement 'Director of Hell's Demolition Office' unlocked!]
The experts who'd had a grudge against Qin Weisheng: "What makes him so special?!"
The other players: "Expert, help us out! We're no good at this!"
Note:
1. The leads are exclusive to each other; the expert returns to the beginner's village.
2. The whole story is made up by the author, so don't overthink it, darlings.
3. Romance and plot (4:6)
4. Some instances contain interstellar and futuristic elements.
5. The instances are set in the Eighteen Levels of Hell. The story is planned to have five major instances and two or three minor ones, so it shouldn't be too long, around 300,000 to 400,000 words~
