Wu Mu is Huaguo's strongest assassin. To kill Yin Wang, an SSS-class monster, he poses as a blind date and marries him undercover.
But his identity is exposed on their wedding night. To his surprise, the other man doesn't kill him. Instead, he treats him even better.
He gives Wu Mu all his possessions and cheerfully serves him like an emperor, never complaining and working tirelessly.
His only demand is that they don't get divorced.
Wu Mu: Then I'll just have to make him a widower.
And so Wu Mu launches his "Widow Plan," preparing elaborate death gifts for his newlywed husband at home every day, including but not limited to:
[The Guillotine Door]
The moment the door opens, a Louis XVI experience device drops into place. Wu Mu listens with satisfaction as a head and an orange roll across the floor together.
But the next second, he sees Yin Wang pick up half an arm and smile gently at him.
"Wife, how did you know I hated the head growing on my arm? It looked awful!"
Wu Mu: .
[The Iron Maiden Bed Makeover]
Wu Mu sizes up his sleeping husband and presses the switch. Countless iron spikes shoot out of the mattress, piercing Yin Wang until he's full of holes.
Wu Mu sighs. Surely he's dead this time.
But then his husband, full of holes like a sieve, slowly gets up and smiles with his ruined face.
"Thanks for the acupuncture, wife. I feel so refreshed now. What would you like for dinner? Sweet-and-sour ribs?"
He can't be killed! He really can't be killed!
Wu Mu's career as an assassin hits a terrible setback. No matter what methods he tries, the other man just drags his battered, blood-soaked body off to cook for him with tender care.
Admitting that his mission has failed, Wu Mu takes out the divorce papers. "Let's get divorced."
But as soon as the words leave his mouth, his usually gentle husband's face turns cold, his gaze full of menace and oppression.
In an instant, countless tentacles coil around Wu Mu from behind, binding him tightly. A cold, powerful hand grips his chin, and a dangerous breath brushes against his ear.
"Make that kind of joke again, and I'll cut out your tongue~"
Theme: May they be happy together for a hundred years.
