Welcome to the World of Rules and Mysteries

A new neighbor moved in next door to Ning Cheng. He was a young man who had just graduated from university. On his first day, he came over to Ning Cheng and gave him a bag of screaming apples. Ning Cheng: ... He accepted the apples and, while he was at it, reminded the young man to read the resident's guide posted on the community noticeboard. "Moon Bay Community Resident's Guide (Excerpt)" 1. Residents must use access cards to enter and exit the community. Your access card is your "pass" for getting home safely, so please carry it with you. If you happen to lose it, go to the property management office as soon as possible to get a replacement. 2. Three meals a day are the energy supply stations of life. Please remember to eat on time. 3. When buying ingredients, choose fresh food first. Reject spoiled or expired ingredients and keep your food safe. 4. The community's designated garbage disposal hours are 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day, after which the garbage will be collected and disposed of. To keep the community clean, please do not dump garbage outside the designated hours. 5. There is currently no parcel collection station in the community. If you spot a sign or location that appears to be one, please contact a member of the property management committee immediately. We will verify and deal with it as soon as possible. 6. The community's landscaping has been carefully designed, and its natural environment is exceptionally good. When you are relaxing at home, the clear chirping of birds may reach your ears. This is a gift from nature, so feel free to sit quietly and enjoy it. 7. As the saying goes, "A near neighbor is better than a distant relative." When a neighbor sincerely asks you for help, feel free to lend a hand warmly and help make kindness and mutual support the norm in the community. 8. Protecting privacy starts with me. Please do not take the initiative to ask unfamiliar neighbors for personal information. Maintain good neighborly relations while respecting boundaries. Welcome to Moon Bay Community. Welcome to the world of bizarre rules. CP: Wen Cong (gong) x Ning Cheng (shou). There are no more detailed character descriptions because I feel like anything I write would be a spoiler. Highlights: 1. Although this is a bizarre-rules story, it is not about clearing levels in an instance dungeon. The main story (19 chapters) is about how the two of them get their happy ending, while the extras (200+ chapters) are about their life together afterward... I never expected to write this much, but Brother Ning and Xiao Wen said they wanted to cuddle up more, more, more, more, more. Except for the flashback and bonus extras, the timeline is continuous throughout. 2. This new idea came to me on a whim, so I'm jumping the queue and starting it right away! =v= 4. The original title is on the cover (and it also describes the main story). [Pre-release: A Story About Two Men from Ancient Times Traveling to the Modern Day and Falling in Love Amid Much Back-and-Forth] Emperor Wu of Zhou, Xiao Jing, had three great regrets in life. His first regret was that his birth mother died young. He was left alone and helpless in the palace as a child, and when people framed him, he could only swallow his anger and endure it. His second regret was that Xie Xiang was born too late. He had finally found a kindred spirit only after turning thirty. His third regret was that he was powerless when Xie Xiang was gravely ill and no medicine could help him. Reborn, he thought he would never again see the beloved who had been by his side for so many years. But then his company was hiring, and wasn't this new employee none other than his own Xie Xiang? Xiao Jing: Hi, honey. Want to come to my place tonight and watch the cat do a backflip? Xie Tingyu: ... After traveling from ancient times to the modern day, Xie Tingyu had three great joys in life. His first joy was a harmonious family with loving parents. His second joy was that times had changed and everyone was equal. His third joy was society's progress and finding a career he loved. Looking at the familiar face before him, Xie Tingyu asked, "Sir, who are you?" CP: Emperor and chancellor in their previous lives, CEO x assistant in this life. P.S. Their feelings are mutual, and they truly loved each other in their previous lives, too. But the shou has some emotional baggage. The whole story is about the two of them going back and forth until he can let it go. His emotional baggage has nothing to do with anyone else, only with the gong and shou. Theme: No matter what difficulties you face, never give up easily. Keep looking for hope.
