A Cat Farming and Raising Cubs in the Beast World [Worldbuilding]

Mo Yao transmigrated into a calico cat who had been driven out of her tribe for being weak. A cat traveling with him died in childbirth, leaving him with two tiger cubs to nurse.

Raising cubs alone was nearly impossible, so after much hesitation, Mo Yao decided to go to the tiger tribe and seek help from the cubs' father, the tribe's leader. But upon arriving, he learned that the previous leader had died an unnatural death.

With the snow season approaching, any beastfolk who left their tribe would surely die. The tiger tribe had a tradition of caring for the former leader's mate and cubs, so in desperation, Mo Yao could only claim that he had given birth to the tiger cubs, allowing him to stay in the tribe.

Before Mo Yao could breathe a sigh of relief, Hu Yan, the new leader of the tiger tribe, returned and began to doubt his identity.

To stay alive, Mo Yao had to use every trick he could think of, making up stories about "his past with the former leader" and describing how mighty and strong the former leader had been, so he could rely on him without worry. But the more he said, the colder Hu Yan's expression became.

Until one day, Hu Yan pinned him against a rock wall. "We're both leaders. Can't you rely on me instead?"

When Hu Yan returned to the tribe, he found a pitiful calico cat who had come seeking shelter with two tiger cubs, claiming to be the former leader's widower.

Hu Yan watched the lying little cat coldly, waiting for him to reveal his true identity.

The calico cat made up sweet memories of his time with the former leader to win Hu Yan's trust. Hu Yan had meant to laugh at him, but the more he heard, the angrier he became. When he heard his fellow tiger beastfolk joking that a beauty like the calico could only belong to the strong, a thought he knew he shouldn't have, yet found utterly tempting, suddenly took root in his mind.

He had inherited the former leader's tribe, possessions, and cubs...

Naturally, that included this beautiful little calico who lied through his teeth.
