The Stronghold Master Who Hated Officials Falls for One (Originally: Frost on the Wutong Tree)

Young General Liang Dinghuan of the Liang family leads his troops against foreign invaders. Ambushed and wounded, he is captured by the people of Red Leaf Stockade, who are out scavenging on the battlefield. The female chieftain, Shan Hongxiao, has little regard for court officials and would rather see him leave the stockade as soon as possible. And so their story begins, their fates destined to become entangled…

Since this is a commissioned story, I’ll be speeding up the pace. I hope it won’t feel too abrupt.
