Seasonal Limited Edition

[Career-focused woman x Love-struck man | Not very satisfied with this one. I'll come back and fill this hole after finishing League's Number One Player Comes from the Cultivation World next door.]

When Jiang Miao was seventeen, she found Shen Hui, who had fainted from the cold, in the snow.

The boy had delicate features and was as beautiful as a glass doll. He was a bit of a crybaby, but she liked how obedient and trusting he was, how he depended on her. On a whim, she started dating him.

A year later, she chased after her dreams and broke up with him as a matter of course. What happened to the boy afterward... never even crossed her mind.

At twenty-seven, Jiang Miao left her studio with nothing and was disgraced in the industry after a scandal.

Through an old classmate, she finally found a new job as a production director for a travel variety show.

But the person she was assigned to follow was...

The first love she'd dumped many years ago.

The once-obedient puppy had become a new top-tier star in the industry, shining on camera. He was no longer someone she could easily lay a hand on.

So Jiang Miao dutifully stuck to her job, behaving like a proper behind-the-scenes production worker and never crossing the line again.

...But somehow, their relationship changed all over again.

She was pinned in a blind spot beyond the reach of all the cameras. Shen Hui gripped her arm with one hand and lowered his head to bury his face against her neck.

The area around them was alive with voices, while dry branches crackled and leaped in the bonfire.

He tried to cover the slight quiver of his sobbing breaths with suggestive words.

"...Liar."

The snowy night came alive too.
