Blurb:

After escaping from the White Tower, Yin Ning found a green-tea Guide in the wilderness and, unable to resist, lent a hand.

“I'm just a frail Guide. Without a Sentinel to protect me, the heteromorphs will eat me...” the Guide pleaded.

Drawn by the Guide's spirit animal and tempted by their Guide pheromones, Yin Ning, who knew nothing about romance, somehow agreed.

From then on, the Guide stuck to her, and the peaceful life she had hidden away in the refugee zone was abruptly brought to an end.

The world after the apocalypse was withered, rotten, and without hope:

The Abyss kept devouring the habitable world. Humans turned into heteromorphs without warning. The cult ran rampant, plotting a shocking conspiracy...

Yin Ning and the Guide were forced to face it all together:

They escaped the refugee zone destroyed by the cult.

They searched for clues amid the tangled mysteries of the base.

Then they headed for the frozen Arctic Circle to investigate the truth behind the Abyss's arrival.

Only when their 100% compatibility rating appeared before her did she realize that the Guide was not some “innocent, fragile little thing” at all, but her former S-rank match!

“So you knew all along, and you came to drag me back?” Yin Ning gritted her teeth.

“No. Actually, I also stood you up when we matched that day.” As the Guide spoke, they willingly fell into her web. “Now, I regret it.”
