Bad news: Long Lan triggers a barrier while carrying out a mission and is transported to the Qi Refining Continent thousands of years in the past.
Good news: She gets a hot weapons System. She can exchange for weapons with spirit qi points, which she can collect from other people.
So she starts eyeing cultivators with abundant spirit qi:
"Fellow Daoist, would you like to learn about this cultivation-sharing app? For just a few spirit qi stones, you can get access to the whole continent's food and information-sharing services. Best of all, there's a weapons System. See the gun in my hand? I used it to interrupt a great wizard's spellcasting. Now, with just a few spirit qi points, you could have a chance to draw these world-destroying new weapons you've never even seen before."
When all the Qi Refiners think Long Lan is nothing but a complete swindler, her sealed memories are restored. With a vast amount of spirit qi, she opens a gate through time and space and invites the cultivators of the world:
"Welcome to four thousand years in the future. We need you to help restore order to the world."
★ A lighthearted little scene:
The Qi Refiners: "Long Lan! Give us back our spirit qi points!"
Long Lan races away and shouts back, "The lottery page clearly says there's a chance of winning. Don't blame me just because you have bad luck!"
The Qi Refining world's out-of-breath reporter, running alongside her, asks, "Captain Lan, what are the odds of winning that you set?"
Long Lan smiles as brightly as a flower. "That's a trade secret, so I can't really tell you. It's just like how many times you have to chop."
"Oh, you don't know what that means."
"It's fine. Once you get to the modern era, you'll find out soon enough!"
World setting: In the early story, an Eastern fantasy cultivation-and-leveling adventure on the Qi Refining Continent.
In the later story, a modern post-apocalyptic world of scientific cultivation.
