After Leaving, the One Everyone Hated Became Their White Moonlight

Xie Wuyou is the senior disciple of the Hidden Sect.

Before his master went into seclusion, he took in three junior disciples, and Xie Wuyou practically raised all of them.

Yet each treats him differently.

The second junior disciple, born into a family of cultivators, looks down on him, an orphan since childhood:

"Senior Brother, when will you stop debasing yourself and become worthy of standing beside us?"

The third junior disciple, who prefers to settle things with his fists and spiritual power, also looks down on him as his cultivation gradually surpasses Xie Wuyou's. "Senior Brother, you're too weak. No wonder the sect doesn't acknowledge you."

Only the youngest junior disciple, a little dumpling of a child, has been as affectionate with him for ten years as ever. Sometimes, he's even too affectionate.

So Xie Wuyou, whose spiritual roots are mediocre, thinks he'd be content just to see his master and three junior disciples ascend. But during a mission, something goes wrong, and the little bit of demonic blood in his body is awakened.

The good news is that he can ascend, too.

The bad news is that his sect no longer wants him.

It's not that he doesn't struggle. But that night, his youngest junior disciple, now only half a head shorter than him, plays with a lock of his hair and asks in confusion, "Senior Brother, why do you smell like a demon?"

Xie Wuyou seems to hear him murmur, "The outside world is still too dangerous for you..."

The next day, after witnessing his master's return from seclusion and hearing him declare that any demons who infiltrate the sect must be killed without mercy, Xie Wuyou packs his things and runs.

The next time he hears news of the sect, the Hidden Sect has emerged from seclusion and is searching everywhere for someone. It seems they're looking for the senior disciple they've always been ashamed to acknowledge.

What Xie Wuyou thought was just a little demonic blood turns out to be the blood of the previous Demon Lord. He is the only child the Demon Lord left behind.

1. Youngest junior disciple x senior disciple (dark, obsessive type x nurturing caretaker)

2. The senior disciple is despised by everyone in the sect, but adored by everyone after he leaves.

3. The demons dote on him to pieces.

4. A nurturing caretaker with self-destructive tendencies.

P.S. Some people are so stubborn that they end up missing their chance. (Shrugs.)
