The main story is written in third person. There is a reader's guide at the end.
"Remember to close that window. The east wind is coming." [1]
I am Eurus Holmes, the youngest child in the Holmes family.
I have two older brothers,
one "British government," and one "private detective."
They call me a once-in-a-generation genius.
Moriarty does whatever I say,
and my family nearly killed one another because of me.
Though I've changed my ways and repaired my relationship with my siblings,
my foolish brother Mycroft still sent me to Japan with a plane ticket, confidently assuring me I'd find something to amuse myself there.
I'll admit, Tokyo is an interesting city.
It has a way of working all its own.
There are murders, bombs, and terrorist attacks everywhere,
and the suspects are always one of three people.
You can even witness the spectacular sight of a silver-haired assassin piloting a helicopter and shooting up Tokyo Tower.
But is it really okay for the crime rate to be this high?

Kudo Shinichi suddenly has an older sister who gives him a headache.
She brainwashes every criminal indiscriminately,
and takes endless pleasure in lecturing him that Sherlock is the stupidest child in the world, including stories such as how the other boy has never passed an astronomy exam.
He gets it: his sister is a huge Moriarty fan.
Then the young detective gets punched in the head.
-
After dealing with a mountain of political business,
Mycroft gets ready to open his intelligence log and see what his sister has been up to lately.
[Japan's police savior = British detective + Japanese elementary school student?]
[The Boss of an international criminal syndicate may have changed?]
[The miracle of immortality: unlimited cell proliferation?]
Mycroft loses his mind.
