(A short story of 100,000+ characters, currently being drafted~)
Over thirty, Lin Youyou was being pressured by her family to get married. The men they introduced were either complete losers or divorced fathers with kids.
Lin Youyou gave up resisting, closed her eyes, and waved a hand.
At the blind date the next day, she met a vigorous, successful man. Her best friend said she had hit the jackpot.
Cheng Yi greeted her politely, seeming unsurprised. "Teacher Lin, long time no see."
She panicked, said nothing, and turned to run.
"No way. He used to be my student."
"Younger men are healthier."
"No way. He's too handsome and too well-educated. I don't have the confidence."
"That'll improve the next generation's genes."
"No way. I broke up his relationship before."
"What do you know? It's fate."
Later, after a passionate night together, Lin Youyou woke with an aching back. Looking at the man's firm, well-defined muscles, she realized her best friend was right.
Younger really is better. Young men are amazing!
