I Founded a New Genre of Believer Fiction

A 60,000-word novella.

Lu Mingjiang was stranded inside an instance.

For an entire year, he could not live like a normal person. He could only endure the days alone.

Eventually, the System finally remembered him and gave him some compensation.

The System said, "You can write down four names. These four people will become your devoted believers and tell your story after you leave."

That was just bizarre. Why not simply send me back? I don't need people in this world to remember me!

But since he'd been given compensation, Lu Mingjiang scribbled down whatever came to mind, then went straight to sleep, looking forward to returning to reality the next day.

But Lu Mingjiang never expected to remain in this world.

He had lost his memories and only knew that he was a college student. An orphan, he worked his way through school, and while it was bad enough to encounter strange things, the people he met seemed more and more unhinged.

They said someone had once lit up their lives.

They said that in the softest corner of their hearts, they hid a name they could never speak.

They regarded him as a god. They were his most devoted believers.

Lu Mingjiang: "? Have you people gone crazy enough yet? Can you stop reminiscing about the past? Get to work, get to work!"

Later, Lu Mingjiang remembered everything.

He thought, if only he'd known...

He wouldn't have written down the name of the sweet potato vendor.

No, if I'd known this would happen, I wouldn't have started this whole believer-literature thing! Are you people insane?
