"After work, you witness a murder and get targeted by a 'killer.' How do you survive?"
After graduating from a prestigious university with excellent grades, Li Feng became the kind of overworked 996 employee everyone envies.
Because he has a baby face, he wears glasses to disguise himself. Whenever trouble comes his way, he pretends to be blind. He's a master of slacking off and doing the bare minimum, and his greatest wish is to retire early.
Though the ever-growing number of people awakening supernatural abilities has brought countless changes to society, life for ordinary office workers remains the same old grind.
One day, after accompanying his manager to a business dinner, Li Feng spots a tall man in an alley on his way home. The man is wearing blindingly bright yellow rubber gloves and boots, a suspicious black raincoat, and a mask that hides his face. He stands beside a pool of blood, cleaning up a pile of "mosaics."
...A murder scene?
The next second, their gazes meet. Li Feng finds himself staring into a pair of scarlet eyes.
With no time to think, he instinctively curls his lips into a smile and uses the smell of alcohol on himself to pretend he's drunk. Treating the dangerous figure before him like an ordinary cleaner, he drunkenly makes conversation, then casually walks out of the alley and manages to escape unharmed.
After getting home, Li Feng has nightmares all night. The shadow of the "cleaner" refuses to leave his mind.
Even so, he still has to go to work tomorrow.
The next day at the office, his manager suddenly calls him over:
"Xiao Li, some college students are coming in today to do a practical research project. Please look after them... It's a project we're doing with the Supernatural Ability Employment Guidance Center. Ask them for the details..."
So they want an ordinary person to give supernatural ability users social skills training... Who came up with this brilliant idea? Why not also consider the survival of us overworked office drones?

Apparently noticing his gaze, the tall young man abruptly turns his face away, then quickly turns back and looks straight at him with dark eyes.
