As he gets to know Xu Nuo better, he discovers that the boy doesn't go to school and has no family looking after him. He just sits alone at home, staring into space.

"Do you want to come live with me?"

He reaches out to Xu Nuo.

It had started as a kind gesture, but after Xu Nuo's secondary gender manifested at eighteen, he made a wildly inappropriate wish. The warm tip of his wolf tail, soft and sensitive at its base, rests against Li Yi's wrist and brushes back and forth across his skin. "Brother Yi... My birthday wish is to spend a night with you..."

"W-wait!" Only then does Li Yi realize that Xu Nuo has fallen in love with him. "But we're both Alphas!"

No.

Unless he achieves the happy ending of a "harmonious family," the System automatically spends his points to rewind time to a few days before his death. With each death and rewind, the reset point for the same event moves further back. That means he has only a limited number of chances to fall at the same hurdle. If the rewind point passes the time when the original event occurred, he'll fall into a "time paradox." No one can ever reach a nonexistent point in time, so he will cease to exist.
