[My Flesh and Blood Comes from Your Soul]
Fu Ling transmigrated into a novel she'd started writing six years ago, only to abandon it after the opening.
To make matters worse, the damn System wants her to find the novel's perfect ending.
Fu Ling: Hello, where's the button to finish the story?
From the start, she tumbles into a handsome guy's arms. Fu Ling tearfully thinks she's found the male lead, only to discover he's just a kid, and one who's about to be killed by the villain.
On a whim, smitten by his looks (cross that out), Fu Ling takes pity on him and decides to escape with the kid.
Except...
Why does the kid have the same name as the villain?
-
This villain doesn't seem to be what she expected.
He can't lift a finger, can't even step on an ant by the roadside, and is as delicate as a flower that clings to a tree.
To keep the plot moving along, Fu Ling had hoped the villain would take on Heaven, Earth, and the whole world. Instead, he's as emotionally stable as a capybara, driving Fu Ling to fly into a rage every day.
Fine, fine. So that's how you want to play.
And so Fu Ling hefts a greatsword and roams far and wide with this burden in tow, never to return from the path to becoming a villain.
She strays from the outline, the plot veers further and further off course, and the System's warnings keep coming.
In the end, a single strike pierces Fu Ling, bringing this freely growing story to an end.
When Fu Ling opens her eyes again, blood has become a sea, and the whole world is scarlet.
Chang Ye stands amid a mountain of corpses, holding the God-Slaying Bow, tears of blood streaming down his face.
"A Ling, don't leave me again."
A little guide to the story:
* 24.11.27: I'm still learning to write blurbs, so this may be revised later.
* The title may change too.
Theme: Not abandoning a story is every author's duty
