She Reached the Top After Declaring Herself a Proud Solo Fan [Showbiz]

Since this story is a little morally questionable, I politely decline unsolicited reviews, recs, and inclusion on reading lists. Also known as: After getting cursed during a fan war, I transmigrated and became a member of a top girl group After failing to debut once, Han Sanghee awakens memories of her past life and discovers that, by a twist of fate, she has become a member of her favorite idol’s labelmate junior girl group? Luckily, this isn’t one of the groups she knew from her past life. (It’d be really weird to roast yourself!) Then let’s focus on building a career first. Oppas can wait until I’ve shone bright enough. (Ahem, we recommend that Sanghee-nim use a burner account for that~) At her new company, she is “forced” to change her image, but pulls it off perfectly. [Wait, do people really think that just because her former agency was SM, she must be good at vocals? Though, to be fair, Han Sanghee really is good.] The group faces a backlash at debut, but no one can resist Sanghee’s stunning looks. [Besides, the debut album for E.T.E, led by Han the captain, is insanely good, okay? It feels just like a passionate girls’ manga!] She spends so much time in the practice room that people assume there’s a bed in there just for her. Her schedule is packed with corporate gigs and music-show stages, and she gives every performance her all. She covers all kinds of variety shows and radio programs, and her elegant girl-next-door image takes off. Sanghee: a girl group member with an unbelievably high return on investment. Only three years after debut, she takes the top spot in the domestic girl group rankings based on public votes. Japan has been her second home since debut, and her Chinese-speaking fanbase is so strong that every stop on the mainland tour draws tens of thousands... Just as everyone expects YG’s third-generation girl group to reach the top, every member’s burner account is accidentally exposed. Suspected dating, suspected dating, suspected dating, suspected dating, plus sasaeng-only-fan remarks... [Huh? How did a member of a senior boy group get mixed up in this?] But then again, couldn’t this count as reaching the top? “Being an idol is work. Being a sasaeng-only fan is life.” From Han Sanghee, at this very moment A sharp-eyed netizen comments: No wonder every member is a self-producing idol. Years later, Han Sanghee happens to remember the curse: “Someone like you will never understand what happiness is!” “But now, so many people love me unconditionally. They’re willing to give me everything.” That was her final answer. From “that pretty new kid” to “Wait, this kid’s a fan of mine?” All it takes to change someone’s impression is a wildly unlikely, fate-dependent secret identity reveal. She says she doesn’t care, but when she hits a low point, she can’t help searching... A high-energy, pretty idol and her “prince syndrome” senior who plays the part for the cameras. They start out as innocent senior and junior, but eventually become the endgame couple. By the way, what’s it like to appear on a fake marriage reality show with someone you know after your secret identity is exposed? Sanghee refuses to answer and stops a certain eager person from trying it out. Reader’s guide: 1. Early on, Sanghee is a 1993-born idol obsessed with building her career. There’s some flirting, but most of the romance comes in the middle and later parts. 2. The supporting characters listed are male love interests: a situationship and a first love. 3. Basically a wish-fulfillment story. The writing is very immature, there are mountains of headcanons, and please forgive any out-of-character moments. 4. This blurb is version 2.n and has been archived. Theme: When you’re young, of course you should focus on chasing your dreams!
