The Spy I Seduce Is Destined to Sink into the Mire

Inside my boudoir, I cowered in a corner, terrified. A cold hand brushed the back of my neck, its touch like a snake's... I stiffened, and my instinctive panic seemed to please Xie Yan.

He leaned close to me, his voice gentle to the point of madness. "Miss, don't you like me? Why are you afraid to look at me now..."

A scent both strange and familiar crept closer, invading my senses. Forced to face my fear, I trembled and stammered, "Please... please let me go..."

At my show of weakness, Xie Yan let out a soft laugh, sounding both self-mocking and scornful. In the silence... by the dim candlelight, I saw the possessive hatred and... burning desire swirling in his eyes.

Sure enough, the next moment he lifted my chin. His brazen words were not those of a bodyguard: "A Yao, I want you..."

When he called me by my childhood nickname... he sounded so familiar, as though he'd practiced it thousands of times. I began to regret... ever provoking him.
