Not long after seeing off the troublesome Frieren, Serie, the ancient elven archmage and pinnacle of human magic, accidentally arrives at the Time Government while out for a walk.
The reason she fell into this world: several hundred years ago, she took on a lively white-haired apprentice who was as spirited as a crane.
Because of her adaptability to time, she is assigned a special mission: eliminate anomalies.
This includes, but is not limited to, transmigrators and the reborn...
What a nuisance. Serie is about to refuse and fire another volley at the Time Government.
But when she learns that she can see her disciples again after they die, she hesitates.
Fine. It’s not like she has anything better to do right now. It’s definitely not because she wants to see Flamme and those other failures.
And so Serie reluctantly takes a post at the citadel, then buys a café in neighboring Beika Town because it’s convenient.
But Beika Town is such a pain. People die every day, and there’s also that bizarre combination of a soul-bearing high school student who sleeps all day and a body belonging to an elementary schooler.
The dark-skinned onion who can cook well but brings plenty of trouble.
And then there are:
A badminton fanatic with talent but no brains.
A fox-eyed, smiling man who lives among ordinary people yet wants to destroy them, lost in his own world.
A civil servant with a giant sword over his head.
Serie: If you ask me, these people can get rid of themselves without any help from outsiders.
P.S. 1. Serie is at least a thousand years old, though her exact age is unknown. She is the strongest in this story by an overwhelming margin.
2. Since Serie is the strongest, the sword warriors assigned to her, who have plenty of magic (spiritual power), are also very strong.
3. Her starter sword is Tsurumaru Kuninaga (the original spirit). They go back several hundred years, after all.
4. People from her original world will appear along the way, such as Zanze, Flamme, and Frieren.
5. Serie is neutral and acts according to her mood.
