When he was seven, Jin Yuehan approached Sheng Yibai simply because he was curious about what kind of happy family Sheng Yibai had. Later, some of that happiness found its way to Jin Yuehan, too.
Jin Yuehan was sensitive and reserved, while Sheng Yibai was proud and dazzling. Afraid someone else would steal Sheng Yibai away, Jin Yuehan nagged and pleaded until Sheng Yibai agreed not to play with anyone else, only him. He swore they would be best friends for life.
