Captain, Want to Date? [Esports]

Lu Xiangyang was a hunter for Team Ella in the Identity V mainland China division. He had extraordinary talent, and whenever he played, he could almost always secure multiple kills.

Yet this prodigious young player died on the very night his team won the championship.

When he was found, his wrists were so thin they were chilling to look at.

What Lu Xiangyang regretted most was signing a contract with Ella to pay for his mother's medical treatment.

No one knew that he endured cold treatment, mockery, rumors, and abuse from his teammates.

Even after developing severe tenosynovitis in his hands, he forced himself to keep training. Of the tens of millions in prize money he earned, he received less than ten thousand, and the club owner held him to his contract, preventing him from retiring or transferring.

On the night they won their third championship, his mother also died because her treatment had come too late.

If he got another chance, he would never join Ella.

He would make sure that team could never win a championship again.

Who could have guessed that he really would be reborn?

He was reborn in the body of Shen Kuangye, a trainee on Team Ella.

What's more, he saw the young man beside him, still a trainee, spirited and full of himself: his former self.

He thought, This time, I can't let that idiot make the same mistakes.

No one knew why the two most talented trainees at the academy turned down Ella and joined EAR instead, a team everyone had written off, with rock-bottom results and barely any money.

Netizens: [First doubt them, then doubt them some more.]

The two prodigy trainees were both devastatingly handsome.

One was a smiling hunter king, the other a cool, aloof survivor king.

Their stunning looks and incredible gaming talent won them a huge following of CP fans.

Every day, their fans woke up and immediately started shipping them.

After they joined, EAR made an incredible comeback, taking first place in their group and winning the Deep Abyss Championship.

Amid the golden rain, the cool, handsome young man turned to look at the red-eyed boy beside him, his gaze unusually gentle.

On the night of the championship, a tipsy young man blocked Shen Kuangye outside the hotel, his cheeks flushed. “Captain, will you date me?”

Shen Kuangye didn't answer, but the boy in his arms summoned his courage and kissed him.

“...”

After a moment of silence, Shen Kuangye gave in, cupped his face, and kissed him back.

Before you read:

1. One-on-one, gong protagonist, survivor king x hunter king, mutual pining.

2. The game is Identity V, in the IVL esports scene. There are tons of personal adaptations, and I can't bear to put my babies through hardship.

3. A narcissistic self-pairing story! A narcissistic self-pairing story!

4. Romance is the main focus, and the competition scenes aren't professionally written. The author is really, really bad, so please go easy on me, sob. It might not be very good. I'll do my best, and you can read it however you like, OvO.
