Thirteen Years of Being □□ by Him

Zhou Yanli lost both his parents as a child and made a living collecting protection money with a gang of hooligans.

One day, he saw a little girl of seven or eight outside a shopping mall. She wore a dazzling red dress and smiled so brightly that she outshone the sun.

He was spellbound, mistakenly believing that keeping her by his side would heal his deeply scarred heart. So he abducted her and took her home, indulging her in every way while denying her freedom.

Years later, he had become the boss of X City, straddling the worlds of crime and respectability, with influence everywhere. Everyone in X City knew that An Ran was Zhou's Achilles' heel.

But she hated him to the core.

At last, she secretly followed Zhou Yanli, found evidence that he had murdered someone and hidden the body, and called the police. By the time they rushed to the scene, he had already shot himself. Yet, with a dark and stubborn look in his eyes, he stared fixedly in the direction An Ran had left and refused to close them.

Ranran, if there is another life, I want to love you with a clean slate.

An Ran: Don't @ me.

[No matter how well the antagonist treats her, the heroine stays clear-headed and composed, never falling for him. In the end, she defeats the forces of darkness on her own and wins back her freedom.]
