The Abyss Beneath the Setting Moon

Having lost his family and love, with his household fallen into ruin, Xiao Chenfei went from a favored son of heaven to a stray dog in just one short year.

He drifted from place to place, surrounded by endless mockery and sneers. Everyone could take a kick at him.

On a snowy winter night, dazed and confused, Xiao Chenfei died in a car accident. When he woke again, he had returned to that night seven years ago.

Seeing that cool, beautiful face once more, Xiao Chenfei was overjoyed. He thought this had to be Heaven giving him a chance to make things right.

In this life, he would never let down the one he loved again!

After dying and being reborn, Shen Tingyue returned to seven years earlier.

This was the turning point of his life, the beginning of his descent into hell, the fate he could not escape.

Late at night, Xiao Chenfei lifted his hand and kissed it gently, his eyes filled with deep infatuation.

He whispered sweet nothings, made all sorts of promises, and swore that Shen Tingyue would be the only person he loved in this life.

Shen Tingyue's body was weak, his heart gripped by fear and despair, but all he could do was stay silent and wait for another seven years of torment.

Just as Xiao Chenfei was about to go further, there came two soft knocks. The next instant, the door was smashed open.

Xiao Chenfei was roughly dragged away and pinned to the floor.

A tall, cold-eyed man walked up to Shen Tingyue and held out a warm hand. His voice was hoarse and low as he said, "Come with me."

He said, "I'll treat you well."

The air fell deathly silent. As Xiao Chenfei stared in utter disbelief and despair, Shen Tingyue placed his hand in the man's palm and answered in a faint voice, "All right."

Whatever the man's intentions, they couldn't be worse than staying by Xiao Chenfei's side.
