Lu Tingyue was a disciple of Perfected Lord Huiyu, Xiao Shi's beloved junior sister, and Ruan Lingfeng's senior sister. At least, that's what she thought before Xia Zhe appeared before her.
At first, Lu Tingyue didn't care about Xia Zhe. Her master had taken on another disciple, so she had simply gained a junior sister. It didn't matter. But gradually, she realized that something wasn't right.
She began to feel confused, sad, angry, and conflicted, becoming more and more “unreasonable” in others' eyes. The once sweet and quiet Lu Tingyue was gone. She gradually became the madwoman of Fuyun Sect. Later, the young woman was trapped on the execution platform and nearly had her cultivation crippled.
It was then that Lu Tingyue remembered everything.
Perfected Lord Huiyu, senior brothers, junior brothers: every last one of them was a liar, utter bullshit. After the punishment ended, Lu Tingyue waited until her injuries had mostly healed under the watchful eyes of her so-called master and fellow disciples, then set fire to Yiyun Peak, the residence of Perfected Lord Huiyu, and faked her death to escape the sect.
Lu Tingyue: To hell with all of you! Go rot!
Theme: Strive for self-improvement.
