A lazy cat goddess from the Divine Realm x a tyrannical, unhinged Demon Emperor

Feng Luojiu is the Goddess of the Four Seasons. She was born with the duty of improving harsh environments and bringing blessings to all living things.

But her divine power has yet to awaken, and the other gods dote on her, so she has grown lazy. She spends every day in bed and is known far and wide as a useless slacker.

The deserts of the Demon Realm are growing ever larger, and only her divine power can save it. Her elder sister turns her into a chubby little cat and kicks her into the Demon Realm, hoping she can save the countless demons.

She lands right in the hands of Demon Emperor Gongsun Jue.

Unfortunately, Gongsun Jue is a violent tyrant who often abuses her.

Every day, she thinks about escaping back to the Divine Realm, but Gongsun Jue always manages to block her escape route. At last, she makes up her mind: she will train hard, and one day she'll destroy the wicked Gongsun Jue!

Feng Luojiu goes to great lengths to escape Gongsun Jue, only to stumble into a slum in the Demon Realm, where she nearly gets cooked and eaten by a vicious demon.

Luckily, a little demon called "Wang Yu," who isn't quite so greedy, protects her and spoils her rotten, taking excellent care of her.

But the desertification keeps getting worse, and demons die every day. She doesn't want them to die, so with Wang Yu's encouragement, she begins cultivating her Four Seasons divine power and uses it to push back the desert.

But her divine power grows far more slowly than the demons die...

In the midst of all this, Gongsun Jue raises an army to attack the Divine Realm and seize its blessed lands. The demons are all skin and bones, unable to endure the trials of war. Wang Yu refuses to enlist in order to protect them, and Gongsun Jue brutally kills him.

Wang Yu is the light in Feng Luojiu's darkness. Unable to bear his death, she sneaks into the Demon Palace to kill Gongsun Jue, but is caught in the act and imprisoned in the Demon Prison.

The Demon Realm has long been afflicted by desertification, and the demons are constantly on the prowl. To stabilize the realm, Gongsun Jue has no choice but to pretend to be a cruel Demon Emperor, leading Feng Luojiu to the slums so she can awaken her Four Seasons divine power, and disguising himself as "Wang Yu" to protect her.

But he learns, to his disbelief, that Feng Luojiu is fated to perish while saving the Demon Realm. Unable to let anything happen to his chubby little cat, Gongsun Jue can only give up all his divine power to save the demons.

So he destroys the "Wang Yu" who had protected her in advance.

Let her grieve, let her hate him. As long as she lives, that's enough.
