The Buddha Seeks Purity, But He's a Dragon

After twenty-three years of Buddhist cultivation, Xiao Shu finally learned that he bore the bloodline of the Divine Dragon royal family, and that he was betrothed to the so-called Emperor Jun Gufengyue.

Yet on that very day, his golden scales were stolen, his bloodline transferred, and his identity seemingly taken over by someone else. Then he was slapped off Soulbreaking Cliff.

Fortunately, he was lucky enough to survive the fall.

The only thing giving him a headache was the man he had rescued at the bottom of the cliff, and the way that man acted.

After hearing what had happened to him, the man shared his outrage. The strange look on his face suddenly turned serious, and he declared that he would avenge Xiao Shu.

But the man seemed weak. “I’ve been poisoned with spring poison and lost all my cultivation. Buddhist Son, please help me.”

The Buddhist faith held compassion dear, so Xiao Shu naturally agreed to help. Still, he asked, “What exactly is spring poison, and how do I cure it?”

The man smiled. “It’s not hard. I’ll teach you...”

After one round of detoxification,

Xiao Shu felt something was amiss, but the man said

“Brother Xiao, I... ahem, sigh, my injuries haven’t healed yet. How about we do it once more?”

“The poison flared up today. Let’s do it again, ahem, and cure it once more.”

“One more time.”

“...”

“Brother Xiao, you want revenge as soon as possible too, don’t you?”

Xiao Shu: “?”

After roaming the Three Realms for a thousand years, Gufengyue’s heart had long been as still as an ancient well.

But after emerging from seclusion for five hundred years and completing ten lifetimes of reincarnation, the remnant soul that should have returned to his true body remained nowhere to be found.

So he simply crushed the soul seal, intending to forcibly summon it back.

But the remnant soul refused to return to his body. Only a wisp of divine consciousness came through, revealing that the yang essence of his incarnation in the mortal world had been lost, and that his cultivation of the Heartless Realm through reincarnation had come to nothing.

Then fragments of missing memories surfaced

Gufengyue had not even finished seeing them before his expression turned dark.

He laughed in fury.

The man had ruined his state of mind.

Violated his cultivation body.

He was going to find out exactly who this mortal was, daring to drain his essence.
