Succubus Series (1)
Vita is a succubus who feeds in bed. She's also a picky gourmet, and if no man catches her eye, she'd rather go hungry.
After losing her job and getting cheated on by her boyfriend, Vita briefly lost interest in men and fell into a state of starvation.
After staying cooped up at home for a month, she realized she was almost out of money. To keep herself from starving to death, she found a job. On her first day, she was drawn to her tall, handsome boss, Ian.
Ian's looks and physique were exactly to her taste. To stave off her hunger, she planned to rush into his office, lock the door, and get it over with quickly.
But Ian didn't pay any attention to Vita. Instead, he made a move on their colleague Bianca and proposed to her that very day.
Bianca had just graduated from college. She neither wanted to get married nor wanted to offend her boss, so she secretly went to Vita, who had started work the same day, for help.
Seeing an experienced man in the workplace harass a young woman left Vita deeply disappointed in Ian. She stepped in to keep the two of them from being alone together.
Ian was displeased. He spoke coldly to her and piled on so much work that she had to keep working overtime. Vita was furious.
When she heard Ian planned to take Bianca on a business trip alone, Vita was certain he intended to sexually harass her. She had Bianca book her a flight and a hotel, then went to take Bianca's place on the trip with Ian.
On the day of the trip, Ian realized Bianca wasn't the one who had come to the airport. He angrily demanded to know why Vita was interfering with his marriage plans. Bianca was young, beautiful, shapely, highly educated, and gentle. She was the perfect match for him, the woman best suited to bear his children. He told Vita to go back and send Bianca in her place at once.
Vita was so angry she wanted to curse him out, but insulting him wouldn't change Bianca's situation. She had to make this man suffer a little.
Being desired by a man you don't like is a nuisance, so Vita never used her charms on men lightly. But this man had infuriated her so much that she looked into Ian's eyes and gave him a soft smile.
Ian had always believed in putting efficiency first. He had little desire for women and hated emotional entanglements. He felt he was at the age to marry and have children, so he had picked the young and beautiful Bianca. It was his business, and he couldn't understand why Vita had to interfere.
As he looked into Vita's eyes, Ian suddenly caught a sweet scent. This woman, who didn't fit his requirements for a partner at all, made his heart race and his face flush uncontrollably. His breathing grew rapid, too.
Could this be love?
This isn't proper Western fantasy. It just borrows a few elements.
Theme: Searching for love in a chaotic world.
