The Beauty NPC Becomes a God in an Infinite Game

[Sorry, the blurb was meant for another upcoming story. This one will be revised.]

Ruan Ci is drawn into an infinite game. Unlike ordinary players, his role is to play the NPCs in the game.

According to the rules, all he has to do is provide players with clues at the right moments and trigger specific plot events.

But after entering the game, Ruan Ci quickly senses that something is wrong.

The people around him are bizarre, a crowd of perverted lunatics and obsessive, unhinged madmen. Even as he walks along, they stare at him with obscure looks, as if they want to drag him into a shadowy corner.

And then there are the evil spirits that come creeping around after midnight, trailing a cold, damp aura...

Something strange has its eyes on him.

Game World 1: Playing the aloof campus heartthrob NPC

This is an elite academy with a strict hierarchy. The campus heartthrob, born into poverty, is bullied relentlessly. His strikingly beautiful, aloof face also makes him the object of desire for a pack of vicious dogs...

Ruan Ci looks at the specially emphasized trait. "The campus heartthrob is one thing, but why does he have to be aloof?"

The System says meaningfully, "You don't get it. That's the whole point."

Ruan Ci: "?"

The comments fill the screen in unison: "You don't get it. That's the whole point."

Ruan Ci: "??"

#According to this game's mechanics, the aloof trait is what gets players and evil spirits going!#

Ruan Ci: So he's a sacrificial side character, then.

In a horror game, can someone who provokes both the players and the evil spirits possibly survive?

Much later, the System confirmed the answer and announced it to the entire server:

"No. You became a legend in there."
