1. The female lead is a bodyguard. Don't expect the members of the main cast to have an especially strong sense of morality.

3. A long ensemble story, mainly focused on the plot. No character is perfect, and they all have room to grow.

4. The male lead is nonhuman and has no principles. Only the female lead can keep him in check.

5. Lots of personal worldbuilding, a mishmash of elements, and a relatively slow narrative style.
