Nirvana's most beloved child betrayed her.
That child led a human army into her body.
With a blade forged from the corpses of her other children, it took her life.
Mother, I have never denied your love for me.
But, Mother, I long for freedom.
I'm sorry, Mother, my poor Mother.
For freedom, I am willing to abandon everything.
Hearing the tearful words of her most beloved child,
Nirvana smiled with compassion.
Child, all people are born free, but the Zerg are not.
Only death can bring you freedom.
Since you long for freedom, I will give you true freedom.
Nirvana died, taking all her children with her.
She swallowed them whole, and they became her flesh and blood.
Since she had given them life, she would be the one to give them death.
Their crying made her suffer.
She closed her eyes, then opened them again.
She had become a human in another world.
This was a more chaotic world, where gods walked the earth and evil gods roamed freely as well.
Wars and conflicts unfolded here at every moment. Bloodshed and slaughter were the children's first lessons.
She had no intention of giving birth to new children, but there were always people willing to kneel at her feet.
"O God, please save me. I am willing to pay any price."
That was what they said.
Nirvana was soft-hearted, and could not help asking,
"Then, are you willing to pay a price for me?"
But the devout believer was not afraid.
Through his tears, he said, "I am, God, as long as you are willing to save me."
"All right. Since that's the case, from this day on, you are my child."
*
A new god appeared on the continent of Ailefu.
She was loving and generous, always willing to help every devout believer.
She was wise and learned, able to bring her followers the life they had dreamed of.
The holy spring she bestowed could bring the dead back to life.
The knowledge she bestowed could turn an infant into a sage.
Followers of other gods asked,
"I gave all my wealth and offered precious jewels to my god."
"I sacrificed my own younger sister."
"I blinded myself to show my loyalty."
"Followers of Freedom, what did you sacrifice?"
The followers of Freedom smiled calmly.
"We sacrificed something insignificant."
"Freedom."
