[Main story complete]
Chen Yinyu's cousin saved a woman of unknown origins.
After his dying mother entrusted him to his aunt, Chen Yinyu was raised by his cousin, Chen Hanzhang. No matter what Hanzhang did, Yinyu always supported him.
The two cousins had both been promised in marriage since childhood. Chen Yinyu's future wife was rich and beautiful, while Chen Hanzhang's was ugly and wasteful. To ensure her own son had a good life, Aunt Chen secretly switched their intended spouses.
By the time Chen Yinyu found out, it was too late to change anything. He refused to marry the person who had been left over, and for the first time, he felt hatred for Cousin Hanzhang. He would get his revenge on Chen Hanzhang.
The woman Chen Hanzhang had saved was staying in his mother's old house. Chen Yinyu wanted all of Hanzhang's efforts to come to nothing, so he made up his mind to claim his cousin's deed as his own and make his sacrifice count for nothing!
So when the woman woke and asked who had saved her, he shamelessly lied: "That's right, it was I, the young master, who saved you. You must repay me properly!"
Pei Lingwang was a general in the Xuanfeng Army, notorious enough to frighten children into silence. While campaigning against Wu, she was ambushed and badly injured. A man found her and brought her home to treat her wounds.
She was blind for ten days. At last, she could see her savior with her own eyes.
When the pretty young man saw her wake, his hands and legs trembled together. Still, he bravely handed her the medicine, claimed that she had saved him, and shamelessly made a long list of demands.
Listening to a voice utterly unlike that of the person who had saved her, she gazed at the Chen family's young master, with his almond-shaped eyes and peach-blossom cheeks, and curved her lips into a smile. "All right," she replied gently.
Little liar.
Chen Yinyu did not know that she was the general of the Xuanfeng Army, and he believed her when she said she had lost her memory. In particular, she helped him resolve the marriage arrangement that had been switched, making his aunt apologize to him. Not only that, she also promised to marry him.
Chen Yinyu happily lowered the bridal veil over his face and married her.
After the wedding, he took advantage of being her savior, ordering her around and throwing his weight about. When he occasionally went too far and she disciplined him, he never learned his lesson and did it again next time.
Then she suddenly disappeared, only to return with an imperial decree and take him to the capital. After learning her true identity, Chen Yinyu was terrified and dared not tell the truth. He became as meek as a quail.
It was only when news reached him that Cousin Hanzhang was suffering in his marriage that Yinyu's heart softened. Unable to hold back any longer, he confessed everything to her and begged her to save the real savior.
When she returned after taking care of her savior, Chen Yinyu had already prepared himself to be punished or even cast aside.
As he closed his eyes and waited for judgment, she instead pulled him into her arms and wiped away his tears. He heard her helpless yet tender voice beside his ear:
"You silly fool. Did you really think I married you just to repay a debt of gratitude?"
A decisive, battle-hardened general x a sweet, adorable little beauty who's a bit of a fool

Theme: Love grows over time and can overcome every obstacle
I hope the emotional drama between the male and female protagonists in the next book can be written more delicately. The author's settings are quite good. But in this book, there are really too many insignificant supporting roles. The emperor's concubine and the like made me dizzy, and they didn't feel like they had much effect on the plot. But there are very few scenes between the male and female protagonists that I really care about, which is very regrettable.
I'm really convinced. You two siblings are quite capable. You either harm one or betray the other every day. It's so unlucky that you behave like this and don't think about who harmed you. You still lick the cold ass of the princess every day.
I'm done chasing. Baby Yuyu is so good. I love him so much. I really like the stupid beauty. He is just a little pig. What can he do? Jiaojiao and soft 😭
Actually, I don't quite understand why the heroine, knowing that her benefactor is Chen Hanzhang, doesn't care about the inhumane person he married [Shut up]
In fact, the Jiang family are completely enemies, and helping others to do things is also an enemy. Are you just letting it go so easily?
After chasing them for so long, I just want to watch the emotional drama between the two of them. There are too few emotional dramas.
Hurry up and release my male and female protagonists 😂
It's so sad. Why is Hanzhang always being wronged and thinking about others? Just because he married the wrong person, he has been beaten. He is a kind-hearted person and a doctor, but he doesn't say anything. It's so frustrating. Even though he was rescued later, he still felt aggrieved, maybe because of his character and encounter settings.
Oh my God, I still want to lament that the entire story is about war 😂
Ah ah ah ah, teacher, here's my extra episode 😭
