Why Would You Mess with Him? [Full-Dive]

On the forum for the epic full-dive game Eternal Cosmos, launched by the StarNet Mainframe, a player made a post. -[I ran into an adorable young martial artist while doing a quest and teamed up with him~] The post came with a screenshot of a young martial artist taken without his knowledge. His high ponytail looked dashing, and his eyes were bright. A few minutes later, the post was flooded with replies. [Run!! (screaming in agony)] [Holy crap, isn’t that that guy? OP, quit the party and run for your life!] [Trust me! Any quest with this guy turns into total chaos and a disaster movie! OP, are you still alive?] [You’re a hero! If you’re alive, type 1!] - A group of members from a bully guild ran into a lone boy on their way to a dungeon. The boy had delicate, sweet features and looked gentle and harmless. He asked politely, “Excuse me, is this the way to the entrance of Tidewatch Tower?” The bully guild members looked him up and down, taking in his expensive gear, then smiled maliciously. “Kid, too bad you ran into us. If you know what’s good for you…” They expected him to look frightened. Instead, the boy only paused, then tilted his head and clicked his tongue. “I tried being nice, but you just had to be difficult.” “...?” The wind picked up. The dull crack of bones wrenching out of place and shrill screams pierced the sky. Two minutes later, the boy walked away into the sunset, carrying his spoils. Stripped of all his gear, the leader raised his swollen, misshapen face and saw the attacker’s ID. Only then did he realize. This wasn’t some helpless little bunny… It was the notorious menace of Eternal Cosmos, the player with multiple first-kill records, a welcome guest at all the top guilds, countless legendary feats to his name, and no one daring to cross him… - After many days, Wei Wanzhou finally met the notorious little terror from Eternal Cosmos at a banquet hosted by the Yin family. “Hey, Wei.” The sickly Yin Huaichen stood before him, bundled in a loose, cream-colored sweater, his chin tucked into its soft turtleneck as he greeted him in a quiet voice. Wei Wanzhou looked at him calmly. “How many days have you been avoiding me?” Yin Huaichen blinked his innocent, wide eyes. “I haven’t been avoiding you.” “You slept with me in the game and then ran off. Who taught you that bad habit?” “You didn’t lose anything.” Wei Wanzhou was so exasperated by his shameless denial that he laughed. “Fuck, are you…” Of course, he hadn’t meant it that way. But Yin Huaichen only heard the first two words and raised an eyebrow. “Fuck me? Sure.” Wei Wanzhou: “…” “See you in the game later.” “…” - 1. A leveling-up power fantasy in a full-dive game, with lots of original worldbuilding and extensive gameplay. 2. The strongest solo player in the game but a sickly invalid in real life, with a double-sided personality, bottom × a money-minded, poker-faced CEO in a suit, top 3. I wanted to write three points, but couldn’t think of anything Pre-release: Super-Limit Mecha Logs In Tonight When Lin Jin woke up, he discovered that the world had changed. The legendary ace mecha pilot who once dominated the galaxy had been reborn hundreds of years in the future as a marginalized trainee with no chance of getting off the bench. He lived in trainee dorms that reeked of cheap disinfectant. The only thing in front of him was an outdated beginner training pod with dust on its screen. His memories were full of cold stares and exclusion, and of a starting position casually handed to someone with connections. After taking in the memories left behind by this body, soaked in neglect and injustice, Lin Jin felt neither sorrow nor anger. After the training manager once again scolded him to “put the team first” and “stay in line,” he simply pulled out a contract termination agreement and signed his name. The manager’s eyes widened. “Are you crazy? You think any team will take you if you leave?” Lin Jin looked up at him, his voice calm. “Oh.” … In the new era a century later, war had ended, and the simulated full-dive game Startrace, based on the mecha battlefields of the old era, burst onto the scene. On the simulated battlefield, players searched for supplies and materials, fought, and extracted. This “loot, fight, extract” gameplay, full of tactical mind games and thrilling combat, became the mainstream and took the world by storm. A new season began, ushering in a new legend. That was also the year Startrace’s competitive landscape was rewritten, when a newcomer appeared in the league. Unbelievable last-second maneuvering, mecha combat in the style of the old era, and eye-popping tactical flanking maneuvers… When Lin Jin blazed through the lower leagues and violently kicked open the doors of the top league, everyone was stunned. The newcomer pilot who had burst onto the scene, intimidating veteran pros with the oppressive precision of a surgical scalpel… Was actually a boy who looked frail and delicate? #No one in the full-dive era knows the true God of War never needed to adapt to a new version# #Muscle memory is more precise than AI# #He used the killing techniques of the wartime era to rise to the top and become a god in peacetime# … Everyone knew that Gu Xingye was a superfan of the legendary mecha pilot from history. When people outside the league started frantically spreading rumors that the newcomer Lin Jin’s fighting style was remarkably similar to that historical mecha war god’s, and that he might become the God of War of the new era, Gu Xingye scoffed. Him? Later, Lin Jin appeared before him, made him an offer, and invited him to join his team. Gu Xingye: You’re so sure I’ll join? Lin Jin sat on the shoulder of his mecha, looking down at him. Under the boy’s pale eyes, which carried an unmistakable sense of control, Gu Xingye’s Adam’s apple bobbed unconsciously. Now he finally understood why so many people liked the way Lin Jin looked at them as if they were trash. 1. My take on full-dive games, a leveling-up power fantasy with an original world setting, unrelated to reality. 1. A mecha “loot, fight, extract” game. You don’t need to have played one to enjoy it. 2. Calm, rational, subtly arrogant, naturally dominant bottom × sunny, wolfdog-like, devoted top. Theme: Work hard with your head down and create new glory.
