This is a subject I really like, but it's barely getting any favorites... I wonder if I'm just not suited to plot-driven stories. I'll put it aside for now (._.)

After transmigrating into a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Xie Qing only wanted to survive while looking after the little one left in her care by her adoptive parents. But one day, a System suddenly appeared in her mind.

The System said that if she uncovered the truth about this world, she could return to reality.

This was a wasteland world plagued by scarce resources, genetic mutations, and rampaging mutated plants and animals.

There were not only lower-class refugees struggling to survive, but also wealthy elites who controlled the resources.

There were people with abilities that let them control time, space, and thought,

as well as mutants with physical forms combining traits like snake tails, compound eyes, and tentacles.

And there was human nature, warped and twisted by power and desire.

Xie Qing just wanted to finish her exploration as soon as possible.

Before long, a girl appeared on the wasteland, ruthless and able to cut down mutated beasts as easily as chopping vegetables. The great shelter fortresses wanted nothing to do with her.

They say that wherever she goes, hordes of beasts attack and high walls collapse, bringing the last vestiges of human order to ruin.

Though she was a refugee, she earned the title "Destroyer of Shelter Fortresses" and was seen as the greatest threat by the wealthy elite.

Xie Qing didn't care.

Because the next heir to the financial dynasty, a perfect genetic evolutionist described as cold, ruthless, and wanton,

was pinned by her against a high wall on the verge of collapse, with a glinting dagger at his throat.

All it would take was a little more pressure for her to slit his throat.

But he still smiled like a menace, even curling his silver wolf tail affectionately around Xie Qing's ankle:

"On top of the ruins, you either submit to the rules of the new world."

"Or become the blade that shatters them."
