1. Yang Cao is a physics genius, but unfortunately, she is hopelessly uneven in her studies. In middle school, she often neglected every subject other than physics, studying them only sporadically. Luckily, she wasn't a troublemaker, so her teachers turned a blind eye.
Yun Xian, on the other hand, had always been a model student in the eyes of parents and teachers. She had no particular specialty, but was well-rounded.
The two of them, along with Zhou Yueyue and Sun Quan, were the only four children of their age in Doushi Village. They had grown up together and were childhood friends.
In the eyes of the villagers, Yang Cao and Yun Xian were close companions whose personalities were somewhat opposite. Little did they know that Yun Xian had long harbored feelings for Yang Cao.

She even felt a strange sense of peace.
And so, the two little people in Yang Cao's heart began pulling a rubber band in opposite directions,
each seemingly doing their utmost to claim more of it.
In the end, Yang Cao's reason lost.
For the first time, she realized that her rational side had been utterly defeated.
