The Foolish Imperial Grandson Is Five and a Half

After his father Li Chengqian's failed rebellion, Li Xiang is plagued by nightmares.

At five and a half, he is timid and not very bright. In everyone's eyes, he is the stupid son of the foolish Crown Prince.

But one day, he discovers that he has suddenly become clever! He's thrilled, until he's told that Great Ancestor Li Yuan is behind it, and has even become some kind of System.

Great Ancestor System: "I was Retired Emperor for nine years, and spent another nine years as Li Shimin's grandson. I'm going to make that rebellious son taste the hardships I suffered back then!"

Li Xiang frantically waves his hands in fright. "I'm only five and a half! I wouldn't dare rebel!"

Everyone soon notices that Li Xiang has changed. He's grown bold and clever, brave and resourceful. When it comes to Li Shimin, he even talks back at every turn, acting as if he won't rest until he infuriates him to death.

Everyone thinks he's done for.

But Li Shimin just laughs. "This grandson takes after me!"

Li Xiang looks horrified. "This plot... why isn't it going the way I imagined?"

When Li Xiang finally approaches Li Shimin step by step with a sword in hand, ready to rebel, Li Shimin only smiles at him affectionately. "Grandson, I've been waiting for this day for a long time!"

P.S. The story focuses on everyone doting on him. The female lead appears much later.
