The Battle Corps Commander

[Interstellar + Military Academy + War]

Be the nation's wings, flourishing like a forest.

Joining the Yulin Guard, one of the Republic's strongest forces and famed as the "Wings of the Republic," would be the highest honor.

After completing her initial training, Si Ya was assigned by the Yulin Guard's Training and Administration Department to Lingguang Military Academy for a four-year joint training program. She resolved to study and train with unstinting dedication, working day and night without a moment's rest!

Or not!

In theory, she wanted to focus on her studies. In practice, she excelled in every field.

Her achievements at the academy included, but were not limited to:

A model citizen and nemesis of crime who helped the Fusang City police solve a major case.

A star player and campus celebrity who shone in the military academy's mech ball league.

The Flight Academy's undisputed prodigy pilot and top student.

A tactical genius and Medal of Honor recipient in military exercises.

After completing her third year, the annual "Young Phoenix" battle group competition was about to begin. The winning team would receive a general-class starship and the chance to establish a new title-bearing battle group!

Now was the time to distinguish themselves and make a name for themselves! Si Ya's friends rallied around her, urging her to join them and even nominating her as their battle group leader.

She promptly refused. Her friends were puzzled, but respected her decision.

Just then, a confidential letter from Yulin Guard Headquarters was delivered to Si Ya by a secret Yulin Guard agent undercover at Lingguang Military Academy.

And so she changed her mind.

Thus, in the 27th millennium of the Republic's calendar, one of the most celebrated battle groups was born.
