Since you’ve asked so sincerely, we’ll magnanimously tell you.
To stop the world from being destroyed, to protect the peace of the world.
We embody love and truth, the adorable and irresistible villains.
That’s us, Fyodor.
Wait, no!
Dazai: Outrageous.
How could that possibly be right?! How could the Demon possibly protect the world?
Fyodor: Mr. Osamu Dazai, that is a prejudice against me personally.
Dazai: ???
Also known as: Dazai worked diligently his whole life, only to wake up and find the sky had fallen.
The reason he came to this world involved a bit of luck, but ultimately, it was just Nangong Jue’s personal wish.
Everyone on the continent of Teyvat knows that when a mortal’s desire grows strong enough, the gods will turn their gaze upon them.
So the only reason Nangong Jue came to this world was
He made a wish, and I answered it. That’s all.
As a demon god with the power of prophecy, perhaps Nangong Jue could keep COSplaying as the all-knowing, all-powerful god in his imagination. Then everything he saw would be nothing but a trial from the gods, a judgment of the world.
The demon god murmured softly:
But I don’t want that.
I don’t want you to respect and worship me like a god, leaving me as nothing more than an object of faith high above you.
Not a god, but a lover.
That way, my thoughts, my emotions, my lonely and fragile soul would all show that gods, just like mortals, have feelings and desires, joy and sorrow.
If, at that moment, you could still step forward and firmly take my hand,
affirm my wish and respond to my feelings,
then in return, I would make your wish come true.
Nangong Jue x Fyodor
Warning: Lots of original characters. Some are based on writers, some aren’t.
This story is entirely the author’s own creation. The ability-user profiles in the author’s notes are only supplemental to the story. They share some similarities with the real-life literary figures and the characters in Bungo Stray Dogs, and differ in other ways. They should not be used as a basis for discussion of the original plot or the novel’s portrayal of the writers.
For details about this story’s worldbuilding, you can check Chapter 10 in advance. The author spoils it there.
This is my first true piece of fanfiction. It includes, but isn’t limited to: gratuitous flowery language, cryptic characters who refuse to speak plainly, forced moralizing, bringing up old events again and again to pad the word count, and putting on airs to seem profound. I’m grateful you’ve stuck around to read this.

What to Keep in Mind When You’re Gojo’s Teacher: Gojo x original female lead, pseudo-quick transmigration (I’m not sure that’s the right label, either)
Igarashi, formerly known as Lin Yu, is a seasoned fandom-hopper (?). She got a little too emotionally invested in her role and was caught by the God of Fun, who sent her into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. The God of Fun gave her a System and let her pick any fictional character, granting her that character’s abilities. Igarashi immediately thought: Could this be the start of my own story?
She came to Gojo’s side, looking after him, caring for him, and protecting him. As time passed, the memories of “Lin Yu” gradually began to fade.
Only after Gojo learned the Reverse Cursed Technique did she become whole again. She also realized why she had come here: this was her last chance, one more chance to return to that person’s side.
Gojo had lived with his teacher since childhood. She taught him hand-to-hand combat, but he could never beat her. Once he learned the Reverse Cursed Technique, he felt that even heaven and earth could no longer hold him back. So he said to his teacher:
“I hope… I can stay together forever with you, Geto, Shoko, Nanami, Haibara, and all my friends. I hope I can keep getting stronger and have more exhilarating battles.”
“Is that so? That’s your wish…”
The sky instantly darkened. A thousand streaks of lightning flashed as she hung in the air, unleashing her remaining power. Lightning crowned her, armor clad her, and space itself was torn apart.
“I know your resolve, and I will give you the same respect in return.”
“Gojo, will this power satisfy you?”
1. Igarashi x Gojo. The female lead is Gojo’s teacher, and she will be nerfed.
2. Please forgive any out-of-character moments. I’m a fundamentalist, and the story is absolutely Gojo-centric.
3. I actually prepared two versions of the story where the protagonist was an ordinary person, but it felt like treating the symptoms instead of the cause, so I wrote this one.
4. I’ll keep expanding into new spin-off worlds. Any similarities are purely coincidental. For now, I plan to write one with everyone as classmates and one set in a pet shop. I might even write an online-game story where the female lead is the boss, depending on whether I have enough time and ideas.
She was something that should never have existed, something that should never have been born into this world. Once, she brought destruction indiscriminately to everyone around her. Perhaps sleep was the best place for her.
In the original story, the “sword” she inhabited was taken by an unscrupulous white-haired teacher. They disagreed over “what to do with Sukuna’s vessel” and fought, but became friends through the fight. In the grand, tumultuous story that followed, she could say that the other person changed her. She went from being a tool to gaining a complete personality, becoming the cursed spirit who was most like a human.
She accompanied this mortal throughout his life. At the very end, they fought again, just as they had when they first met. But this time, they both fought with all their strength, because only one of them could survive.
She killed her benefactor, her lover, the person she wanted to spend her life with, simply because he refused to die from illness or old age.
…Gojo, please tell me what I should do.
Why am I a cursed spirit? Why can’t I pass away with you?
After Gojo died, Igarashi saw the “true” world in the void and met the second person who would change her: “Lin Yu.” She gave Igarashi another chance to meet that person.
So, no matter how many times I have to start over, I’ll always return to your side.
Theme: We set our own fate, even when the ending isn’t what we wanted.
