That is, until he went on a blind date with a doctor from Yokohama. After that, the world started feeling downright surreal.
Walking down the street, he might stumble upon a shootout between □□. The news was all about a young phantom thief and a high school detective. At a sports match, he saw basketball and tennis played with superpowers. On a trip to Tokyo, he saw a strange white-haired man in glasses fighting in the sky, and a seafood family he had never heard of...
Where the hell am I? Is this still Japan?
It's fine. None of this should have anything to do with him. He's just an ordinary Japanese teacher.

A few friendly notes:
1. I'm a new author, and my writing and storytelling aren't very good. I'll do my best to finish, though I might restart if I can't tie everything together.
2. There are original settings and out-of-character moments. In my version, Mori Ogai is thirty-two when the Bungo Stray Dogs events take place. The original story probably won't come up much, so you can read this without knowing it. I know nothing about Japanese literature, so the teaching content is mostly made up.
3. I'm writing without an outline, so expect some wild plot developments. I might not even get to the worlds mentioned in the blurb. (Quietly.)
4. Everyday-life story, with a harem-like everyone-loves-him element. Canon couples may be broken up. No couples in the main story.
5. Weekly updates, at least one chapter on Saturday or Sunday. If there's no update for a week, I may have posted a short story on the other site.
